[OPEN] Sculpture/Figurine Commissions

I've always had commissions open (as you can see) but I decided I need to expand a but, and due to the EXTREMELY positive reception I've had regarding my recent sculpture, I have decided to open up commissions officially! I am still very new to this physical art ting + shipping, so please bear with me here as I figure this out!

This mostly has it's own journal because these will be LIMITED with a set amount of slots, and when they are full, no more will be be accepted until the current slots are full. I'm being much stricter with these, rather than my normal commissions as this is for physical merchandise (and I've never shipped things before beyond cards! Crying )

  • When you send the money to me, that means to agree with these terms.

  • These are USD only, unless I come directly to you with an offer! (or are able to do a griffian custom for me and pay for the shipping...i can dream right......)
  • Speaking of postage, you are required to pay for shipping.
  • Please be patient, especially during the summer months as they're the busiest time of year for me! I do have a job I spend most of my day at and only am able to work on art in the evenings! If I'm busy, which I will mention to you prior, please allow up to six months for your commission to be completed in the worst case scenario.
  • If you have a discord, please tell me! It's so much faster than messaging through notes!

Alright! So this is how this works, since it does NOT follow my other commissions:
  • You will not be required to pay until the commission before yours is completed; that way, you are able to back out without losing any money in the process.
  • The base price for a sculpture is $100 USD, it covers 10 hours (excluding baking time) worth of work at minimum wage.
    (I cannot make ANY guarantees on how long a sculpture will take, please note that these are BASE prices and can change (expanded upon in the next few lines.))
  • An invoice will be sent after we negotiate pricing; this will have the ability to make partial payments.
  • You are required to pay half ($50 USD) upfront as a downpayment, in order to cover the cost of additional materials that may be needed! Another, separate, invoice will be sent after sculpture completion for shipping, and will contain the shipping information. You can pay the remaining $50 USD whenever I am done your commission.
  • I cannot sculpt humans as of yet.
  • Winged characters cost extra.
  • If your sculpture somehow takes LESS time than the 10 given hours, the amount remaining will go towards the shipping fee. If there is still shipping that needs to be covered, the second invoice will still be sent (unless its like $2 left, that I'll cover myself lmao.) This is because the weight of these projects varies greatly, and thus shipping will fluctuate as well.
  • If your sculpture ends up taking MORE time, I will message you in regards to what to do next from the following options:
    1. Continue to work and track hours; when the shipping invoice is sent, it will also charge for the additional hours ($10 USD/ hour).
    2. Stop, bake and ship; I stop where I am in my progress, bake what I have finished and ship out the pieces/finished parts of the sculpture for you to complete and paint yourself. (You will still receive the invoice for shipping.)
  • If your character you've commissioned is EXTREMELY simple, such as Ealegs or many Pacapillar designs, and thus only take 1-2 hours, you can commission a batch of multiple that will be sent out together in a small drawstring bag. (The lil bag is free, don't worry!)
  • I work on these in a first come, first serve order. If you commissioned me at the end of the list, you will get your sculpture last and have to be patient with me. Sorry.
  • I am not liable for damage that may happen in transit. I'm extremely sorry for this, but as soon as it starts its journey to you in postage, it is out of my grasp if it gets shaken around and if things may break in the process.


HOW TO ORDER:

  1. Ask for a quote, just in case.
    (You can do this by posting a comment in this journal with your character reference!)

  2. Fill Out the following form in a NOTE if you are satisfied with the quote.

    - Character Reference:
    - Character Personality (if you haven't linked a Toyhou.se or a similar site that lets you write a bio):
    - Pose ideas: (get specific! Do not just say "something cute,' that doesn't help me!)
    (It should go without saying that the more dynamic something is, the longer it takes.)
    - Discord account (if applicable):
    (you will get a friend request from WhateverTrash#1450)!
    - Address:
    (I need it to calculate shipping and actually ship your item to you!)

  3. Pay the partial payment in the invoice of $50 USD.
  4. The hardest part: wait for your order to be completed; complications that may arise, such as going above/below the base price will be messaged to you, and we will negotiate on the next step at that point.
  5. Pay the 2nd half of your order.
  6. Pay the shipping invoice. Shipping information will be attached!
  7. Okay, maybe this is the hardest part: Wait for your order in the mail. Pray that it comes in one piece.
  8. It's there! Enjoy and display it on your shelf or whatever you plan to do!
